The Inn with the Well - RESTAURANT

The Well Dining Room - named after hole in the floor covered by bullet proof glass - seats 25 but has the capacity for formal sit-down dinners of up to 30 people, or buffet style parties of 35. As a venue for business or training meetings the room is ideal for up to 15 people.

Part of the charm is the crisply starched white table linen (an unusual sight in restaurants these days) and paintings of the area by the local artist Earnest Evans. If you take a fancy to any of his work, they are available for sale

Our menu has evolved over a number of years and is split in to two main sections, Bar and Main. The bar menu offers all the old favourites, including ham, egg & chips as well as a selection of ploughman's meals and sandwiches whilst the Main Menu caters for the more adventurous diner.

Our menus are supplemented by a small selection of specials that can be found on a board by the entrance to the bar.

High chair and booster seats are available for our younger diners.

Sunday Lunches
Following the same format as our successful Bistro evenings, main courses are £6.95, 2 courses are £8.45 and 3 courses are £9.95. Child portions are available.

Due to the popularity of these sessions we recommend that you contact us to book your table.

Gourmet Evenings (run mainly during the winter months)
A large table is set up and everyone takes a place. Food is served and consists of Tapas sized potions of starters and main courses - followed by sweets and coffee.

Lunchtime Ordering
We are currently trialling a fax facility to pre-order lunchtime food, ensuring guests are able to take full advantage of the food on offer. Please contact us for more information.

We believe that our main menu should not be restricted to the restaurant and consequently you can select from any of our menus and have your food served in any part of the building that is open to the public.
