The Inn With a Well, Ogbourne St George, Wiltshire

Accommodation

We currently hold a 3 Star ranking for our 6 high quality purpose built rooms, all with en-suite facilities, built in an annex to the Inn. We offer 2 Double rooms, 3 twin rooms as well as a triple room although the twin rooms can be converted to doubles should you wish. Our triple room offers 3 beds but a fourth can be easily added.

The rooms are spacious, offering superior en-suite bathrooms with both bath and shower facilities, appealing to both business and leisure travellers.

All rooms have a free view colour TV, free wi-fi, a hospitality tray with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, heated towel rail with crisp, clean towels, an iron and ironing board and a duck for the bathroom.

We can also provide child sized camp beds, a cot and all prices include a full English breakfast to set you up for the day ( 7.30 to 8.30 weekdays and 8.30 to 9.30 weekends and bank holidays)

 Packed lunches are available.

4 of the rooms are at ground-floor level ( we welcome pets in the downstairs rooms) and two have full access for wheelchair users or those who have difficulty walking.

Tariff rates are per room including breakfast and include VAT at current rates.

All rooms are en-suite and also have a Television with Free VIEW, a Hairdryer, a Hospitality tray, free Wi-fi, iron & ironing board and a Duck.

Pets are welcome in our ground floor rooms (2 twins and 2 double rooms)

Dog walking

The area around the Inn is ideal for all forms of exercise.

We are blessed with a disused railway line just across the road from the Inn. Go across the road, just before the bridge is a path up to the side of the main road. Carry along the path and after 100 yards the path becomes safe for letting off your dog. If you go under the bridge and turn right, after 200 yards you will notice a track that will give access to Marlborough (about 3 miles).

In the bar you will find a map that is centred on Ogbourne which can be used to give you an idea as to the lay of the land.

Please ask for local map and books of local circular walks which we keep behind the bar.

If you like running please ask Mike for some routes around the area from a mile to 17.

Our Labrador, Marley, has a collar that allows him free run of the Inn and car park, however if your dog is of a nervous disposition, we will happily put him upstairs.

If you’ve forgotten or run out of dog food I’m sure Marley will let you have some of his food!

We have couple of bikes should you wish to see the countryside is a more sedate manner.
